These terms govern participation in the YardsaleList affiliate program. By generating or sharing a referral link you agree to them. Tracking, commission calculation, and payouts are handled by our affiliate partner (Rewardful) on top of Stripe.
Who can join
Any YardsaleList account holder — free or paid — may become an affiliate from the account page and receive a personal referral link.
How you earn
- You earn 20% of the total amount a referred customer actually pays on their first transaction (after any on-site discount), for any purchase — listings, upgrades, or a subscription.
- If that customer subscribes to RouteMaster, you also earn 20% of every subsequent subscription payment for as long as the subscription stays active.
- A referral is credited only when the customer completes their first purchase within 2 days of clicking your link.
What doesn't earn
- Your own purchases (self-referrals).
- Listings published for free using an included member credit (no charge means no commission).
- Amounts that are later refunded or charged back — commissions are reversed accordingly.
Payouts
Commissions are tracked and paid through our affiliate partner's portal, where you complete your payout details (e.g. PayPal or Wise) and any required tax information. Payout timing and minimum thresholds are set in that portal.
Fair use
No spam, misleading claims, bidding on our trademarks, self-dealing, or other abuse. We may withhold commissions and remove affiliates who violate these terms or the main Terms of Service.
Changes
We may update these terms or the commission structure; we will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued participation means you accept the updated terms.
